Before Alcorn takes possession of a unit, team members conduct a thorough walkthrough using a 360-degree camera. The technology captures every room from floor to ceiling, documenting existing conditions, normal wear and tear, and any pre-existing damage. Once the entire property has been scanned, including every hallway, apartment, and stairwell, the team uploads the images into Matterport, a 3D scanning platform that stitches the photos together to create a seamless digital model of the building. This allows Superintendents and Project Managers to review existing conditions from the jobsite or remotely whenever questions arise.
