Nowhere are our values of personal responsibility and ownership more important than when it comes to job site safety:
- All Alcorn superintendents are OSHA 30-Hour trained and given the authority to stop work on any project, at any time, if someone’s safety is in question
- All Alcorn project managers are OSHA 10-Hour trained and review their projects for safety every time they are on site
- Projects are kept clean and free of debris
- Safety consultant firm, SFI Compliance, performs regular third party site review, training and in-depth knowledge when complex situations arise
- Every OAC meeting is started with a discussion of site safety and security
- Superintendents perform regular, written site safety walks
- Job Hazard Analyses are performed for all hazardous situations and for work around the public
- Every project has a written emergency response plan
