Last year, Alcorn experienced significant growth and successfully completed numerous projects. Both the Colorado and Arizona teams made substantial progress, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of various challenges and changes. The projects have been consistently steady, and the high quality of work has garnered considerable praise.

In total, the projects we completed in 2024 total more than 1.2 million square feet of construction, occupying more than 100 acres of land, and consisting of more than 70,000 working hours. The largest project completed was in Arizona – Palm Gateway, a four-building industrial park in Mesa, which totals 611,496 square feet. The Colorado team also completed a number of projects, including SNÖBAHN, a 36,000-square-foot year-round indoor ski, snowboard, and skate facility in Thornton, Colorado. In addition to four revolving ski/snowboard slopes, the space features a number of trampolines for visitors to practice jumps, as well as an indoor skate park, complete with ramps and airbags.

Both offices also saw a number of new projects start in 2024, totaling 1.6 million square feet of space. The company onboarded 15 new employees to support the influx of new work, and our Arizona team moved into a new space in Phoenix. Our Arizona office started work on a project with the Wild Horse Pass Development Authority and Gila River Indian Community to build a 24,000 SF grocery and gas center in Sacaton, Arizona. In addition to the market and fueling station, the project features a laundromat and a desert-inspired theme. The Colorado office continued work on a number of large projects, including Arista 36 – a three-building industrial tilt project in Broomfield, Colorado.

In addition to bringing on 15 new employees, several celebrated big milestones in 2024. Stephanie Anderson, our Office Manager in Colorado, marked 10 years at Alcorn. Wade Corliss, our Marketing Manager, and Shelly LaPlant on our Accounts Payable team, marked their fifth year with the company. Six employees reached their first anniversary at Alcorn in 2024.

As we look ahead to 2025, Alcorn is pushing for an even greater year. The dedication and teamwork demonstrated by our employees have set a strong foundation for continued success. With new projects on the horizon and a growing team, we are excited to see what the future holds. Here's to another year of innovation, collaboration, and excellence at Alcorn!
