Today, Alcorn Construction completed construction on the two-building industrial development, designated Point Central Business Park. The project is located at 1051 E. 73rd Ave. in northern Denver and is strategically located near interstates 25, 76, and 270, ensuring exceptional accessibility and proximity to customers throughout metro Denver and nearby markets.
In total, the two buildings bring more than 157,000 square feet of space to the market. Each building offers 2,358 square feet of high-end spec office space with front park / rear load convenience, as well as 2,000 amps of electrical service, and 32-foot clear heights. The development features a 1.5/1,000 parking ratio, 27 dock-high truck doors, and 8 drive-in doors.
In order to build the project, Alcorn Construction needed to demolish several old structures, which contained asbestos. While this initially put the project behind schedule, the project team overcame the challenge to finish the project strong. The project reached substantial completion on July 15, 2024.
The project owner is Starpoint Properties, CREDE Group is the developer, Ware Malcomb was the project’s architect, and Alcorn Construction served as the general contractor for the project.
